International students can get Permanent Residency (PR) in Australia through the following pathways:

  1. Skilled Independent visa (subclass 189) - This is a points-based system where applicants are assessed on factors such as age, education, work experience, language proficiency, and other relevant skills.

  2. Skilled Regional visa (subclass 887) - This visa is for those who have lived and worked in a regional area of Australia for at least two years, and have met the eligibility criteria for PR.

  3. Employer-Sponsored visa - International students who have a job offer from an Australian employer can apply for PR under the Employer Nomination Scheme (subclass 186) or the Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme (subclass 187).

  4. Study and Stay visa - International students who have completed their studies in Australia can apply for a 485 Temporary Graduate visa, which allows them to live and work in Australia for up to two years after graduation.

  5. Partner visa - International students who are married to, or in a de facto relationship with, an Australian citizen or permanent resident can apply for a Partner visa (subclass 820/801).

Note: All applicants must meet the eligibility criteria and pass the character and health checks before they can be granted PR in Australia.
